Acid-wash

A textile finishing process that creates a faded, mottled, or distressed appearance on fabric, particularly denim. This effect is achieved by washing the garment with pumice stones soaked in a chlorine-based bleaching agent. The process partially removes dye, resulting in a distinctive, unevenly bleached look.
