ACIR
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-000075
A measurement in a radio receiver that quantifies its ability to process a desired signal in the presence of a strong signal in an adjacent frequency channel. The Adjacent Channel Interference Ratio (ACIR) is determined by both the transmitter's signal leakage into the adjacent channel and the receiver's filtering capabilities. ACIR is expressed in decibels (dB) and is a key performance metric for cellular and wireless communication systems.
