Angel gear

Putting a vehicle's transmission into neutral, especially a large truck, while coasting downhill. This practice is done to save fuel by letting the vehicle roll freely without engine braking. It is extremely dangerous as it reduces the driver's control and can lead to brake overheating and failure on long descents.
