An early American automobile manufacturer, Apperson Brothers Automobile Company, founded by brothers Edgar and Elmer Apperson in Kokomo, Indiana. The company operated from 1902 to 1926, after the brothers split from their partnership with Elwood Haynes. Apperson cars were known for their powerful engines and innovative features, including the V-8 powered 'Jack Rabbit' models and the four-door sedan body style.
