Bresnan nozzle

A type of cellar nozzle designed to be lowered through a hole in a floor to fight fires in basements, cellars, or other inaccessible spaces below. It consists of a rotating head with multiple orifices that discharge water in a wide, circular pattern, covering a large area without requiring a firefighter to enter the hazardous space. These nozzles typically operate at pressures around 100 psi.
