Bunker out

To don personal protective equipment (PPE), specifically the trousers and boots known as bunker gear, in preparation for a fire or other hazardous incident. Firefighters stage their gear so they can step into their boots and pull up their trousers and suspenders in a single, swift motion. A proficient firefighter can bunker out from a resting state to being fully dressed and ready to board an apparatus in under one minute.
