Bunker fuel

A heavy fuel oil used to power marine vessels, derived from crude oil after lighter fractions like gasoline and diesel have been extracted. This fuel is stored in dedicated tanks, known as bunkers, on board ships. Bunker fuel is typically a high-viscosity product that requires heating before combustion.
