Light oil

Crude oil with a low density and low viscosity, making it flow easily and requiring less energy for extraction and refining. It contains a higher proportion of lighter hydrocarbon fractions, such as gasoline and diesel, compared to heavier crude oils. This type of oil generally has an API gravity greater than 31.1 degrees.
