Clutchless

Describing a transmission system that does not require manual operation of a clutch pedal by the driver for gear changes. These systems use automatic mechanisms, such as torque converters or electronically controlled actuators, to engage and disengage the drivetrain. Examples include automatic transmissions, automated manual transmissions, and continuously variable transmissions.
