Clutch pedal

A foot-operated lever in a manual transmission vehicle that disengages the clutch, temporarily disconnecting the engine from the transmission. This action allows the driver to shift gears smoothly without grinding the gears. Releasing the clutch pedal gradually re-engages the clutch, transferring power from the engine to the wheels.
