CMFB
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-001185
An abbreviation for Common-Mode Feedback, a circuit technique used in differential amplifiers to set and stabilize the DC common-mode voltage of the output nodes. The CMFB circuit senses the average voltage of the two differential outputs and adjusts the amplifier's biasing to keep this average at a desired reference level. This technique is applied in fully differential operational amplifiers to maintain a high common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR).
