Voltage divider
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-006483
A passive electrical circuit that reduces a larger input voltage to a smaller output voltage. It typically consists of two series resistors across which the input voltage is applied. The output voltage is a fraction of the input, determined by the ratio of the resistor values.
