Transconductance
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-006139
A measure of the change in output current of an active electronic device, such as a transistor or vacuum tube, in response to a change in its input voltage. It quantifies the device's ability to convert an input voltage signal into an output current signal. Transconductance is typically expressed in siemens (S) or mhos.
