Sziklai pair

A compound transistor configuration consisting of two bipolar junction transistors of complementary types, such as an NPN and a PNP transistor. The output current of the first transistor feeds the base of the second, resulting in a high current gain. This arrangement provides a Darlington-like behavior but with a lower saturation voltage.
