Pass transistor

Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-004153

A transistor used as a switch to control the flow of current between two points in a circuit, allowing a signal to pass through when turned on and blocking it when turned off. This configuration is common in digital logic gates and multiplexers. A pass transistor can introduce a voltage drop across its terminals.
