pMOS
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-004382
A p-type Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor field-effect transistor, a type of transistor where the current is carried by holes. It operates when a negative voltage is applied to the gate, creating an inversion layer of holes in the n-type substrate. pMOS transistors are often used in conjunction with nMOS transistors to form complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS) logic gates.
