pMOSFET
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-004383
A type of MOSFET that uses holes as the majority charge carriers for conduction. It operates by creating an inversion layer of holes in an n-type substrate when a negative voltage is applied to the gate. pMOSFETs are commonly used in complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS) logic circuits alongside nMOSFETs.
