Drain
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-001839
One of the three terminals of a field-effect transistor (FET), analogous to the collector in a bipolar junction transistor. Current flows from the drain to the source, controlled by the voltage applied to the gate terminal. The drain is typically connected to the positive supply voltage in n-channel FETs.
