VCC
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-006423
An abbreviation for the positive power supply voltage connection in a circuit, particularly one using bipolar junction transistors (BJTs). The 'C' in VCC stands for the collector terminal of the transistor, which is where the positive supply is typically connected. While originating with BJT circuits, the term is now widely used for the positive supply pin on many integrated circuits, even those based on FET logic where VDD is the more traditional term.
