Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-006424
An electronic oscillator whose oscillation frequency is controlled by a voltage input. The output frequency of a VCO is directly proportional to the input control voltage, allowing for dynamic frequency adjustment. VCOs are components in phase-locked loops, frequency synthesizers, and modulators, with output frequencies ranging from kilohertz to gigahertz.
