Tripler
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-006198
An electronic circuit that generates an output signal with a frequency three times that of its input signal. This is achieved through a combination of nonlinear components, such as diodes or transistors, and resonant circuits. Frequency triplers are used in radio frequency (RF) and microwave applications to produce higher frequencies from a lower, more stable source.
