Block upconverter

An electronic device used in satellite communication systems to convert a block of lower-frequency signals to a higher frequency for transmission. It typically receives a range of intermediate frequency (IF) signals and translates them to a corresponding range of radio frequency (RF) signals. This device is a component of a satellite ground station's transmit chain.
