Band-pass

Describing an electronic filter or circuit that allows signals within a specific frequency range to pass through while attenuating frequencies outside this range. The filter has a lower cutoff frequency and an upper cutoff frequency, defining the passband. This characteristic is often used in radio receivers to isolate a particular communication channel.
