Band-stop

Describing an electronic filter that attenuates frequencies within a specific range while allowing frequencies outside this range to pass through with minimal attenuation. This type of filter is also known as a band-reject or notch filter. It is commonly employed to remove unwanted interference or noise at a particular frequency from a signal.
