High shelf

A type of equalizer filter that boosts or cuts all frequencies above a specified cutoff frequency by a constant amount. It creates a flat plateau in the frequency response above the cutoff point. High shelf filters are commonly used in audio mixing and mastering to adjust the brightness or clarity of a sound.
