Resonant
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-004806
Describing a system or circuit that exhibits a large amplitude response when driven at or near a specific frequency, known as its resonant frequency. At resonance, the inductive and capacitive reactances in an RLC circuit cancel each other out, leading to maximum current or voltage. This phenomenon is exploited in tuning circuits for radios and filters.
