Darlington
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-001554
A configuration of two bipolar junction transistors connected in such a way that the current amplified by the first transistor is further amplified by the second. This arrangement provides a very high current gain, making it suitable for applications requiring high current amplification from a small input current. It is often used in power control circuits and motor drivers.
