DAC
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-001536
An electronic device that transforms digital data into an analog electrical signal. It takes a binary input and produces a corresponding voltage or current output. The resolution of a DAC is specified by the number of bits it can convert, such as 8-bit, 12-bit, or 24-bit, which determines the precision of the analog output.
