Decimetre

A unit of length in the metric system, equal to one-tenth of a metre. This measurement is commonly used for dimensions that are larger than centimetres but smaller than a full metre, providing a convenient scale for many industrial and construction applications. One decimetre is equivalent to 10 centimetres or 3.937 inches.
