  "definition": "A control protocol defined in IEEE 802.1AX for distributed resilient network interconnect, in which two or three switches form a portal that appears as one system to a link aggregation partner. The switches in the portal run DRCP over an intra-portal link to exchange their configuration and state, so they agree on which of them carries each traffic flow. It is separate from LACP, which runs between the portal and its partner.",
