Ear

Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-001945

One of the two outer side panels, or flaps, of a diaper, which carry the fasteners that are drawn around the wearer's waist. Ears may be made stretchy so the diaper fits snugly. On many diapers the fasteners attach to a landing zone on the front panel, so the ears set the fit across the waist.
