EMC

Electromagnetic compatibility, the ability of electronic equipment to function satisfactorily in its electromagnetic environment without introducing intolerable electromagnetic disturbance to anything in that environment. This involves both emission control and immunity to external interference. Products must meet specific EMC standards, such as those set by the FCC or CE.
