Conducted interference

Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-001301

Electrical noise or unwanted signals that propagate through power lines, signal cables, or other conductive paths. This interference can disrupt the operation of electronic equipment by introducing spurious voltages or currents. Filters and shielding are employed to mitigate conducted interference, often specified by electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) standards.
