Felling head

The attachment on a feller-buncher or harvester that is responsible for severing trees from their stumps. This specialized tool typically incorporates a saw or shear mechanism to cut the tree and grapples to hold it securely. Modern felling heads can also delimb and debark trees in a single pass.
