Barber chair

A dangerous and uncontrolled splitting of a tree trunk during felling, where the tree breaks upwards from the stump, often leaving a large, jagged splinter resembling a barber's chair. This occurs when the hinge wood is insufficient or improperly cut, causing the tree to kick back violently. It poses a severe risk to loggers and equipment.
