Gold blocking

A printing process that applies a metallic foil, often gold, to a substrate using heat and pressure. A heated die presses the foil onto the material, transferring the metallic layer to create a decorative or branded image. This technique is frequently employed for book covers, certificates, and luxury packaging to achieve a premium appearance.
