Roll-to-roll

A manufacturing process where a flexible substrate, such as plastic film or metal foil, is continuously processed as it moves from one roll to another. This method is employed for high-volume production of thin, flexible products like printed electronics or solar cells. The web speed can exceed several meters per second.
