Roll rate

The angular rate at which an aircraft rotates about its longitudinal axis in response to full lateral control input, measured in degrees per second. It depends on aileron or spoiler power, wing design, inertia and airspeed. Fighters roll at a few hundred degrees per second, while airliners manage only a few tens of degrees per second.
