Halt

A small, unstaffed railway station or stopping point with minimal facilities, such as a simple platform and shelter. Trains stop at these locations only on request, where passengers on the platform signal the driver or passengers on board inform the train crew. Unlike a full station, a halt does not have ticketing facilities or permanent staff.
