Light rail

A form of urban public transportation that uses railway vehicles operating on tracks, often sharing rights-of-way with road traffic or having dedicated lanes. Light rail systems are characterized by lighter vehicles, lower operating speeds, and less extensive infrastructure compared to heavy rail or subways. Examples include modern streetcars and trams.
