Milling machine

A machine tool that uses rotating multi-point cutting tools to remove material from a workpiece by advancing the workpiece into the cutter. This process creates flat or irregularly shaped surfaces, slots, and holes. Milling machines are categorized as vertical or horizontal, depending on the orientation of their spindle axis.
