Mule

A small, powerful tractor or locomotive used for moving railcars or heavy equipment within a shipyard, dock, or industrial facility. These vehicles provide the high torque needed to position vessels on a slipway or to tow large structural modules into place for assembly. Canal mules are specialized locomotives that run on tracks alongside a canal lock to guide and pull ships through it, as seen at the Panama Canal.
