Yard

A facility, also known as a shipyard or boatyard, where ships and other watercraft are built, repaired, and maintained. These industrial sites are equipped with dry docks, slipways, cranes, and workshops necessary for constructing and servicing vessels of all sizes. A yard can also refer to a spar on a sailing vessel that extends a sail.
