Oil change

The routine maintenance procedure of draining used lubricating oil from an engine and replacing it with fresh oil that meets the manufacturer's specifications. This service also includes the replacement of the oil filter, which traps contaminants and prevents them from circulating within the engine. Service intervals are specified by the vehicle manufacturer and are based on mileage or time, such as every 7,500 miles or 12 months.
