Passthrough

A mechanism or configuration that allows data, signals, or power to move directly through a device or system without modification or processing. This direct conveyance maintains the original characteristics of the transmitted information or energy. Passthrough modes are often employed in network devices or power distribution units to minimize latency or power loss.
