Pocket-hole

A type of joinery where an angled hole is drilled into one workpiece, allowing a self-tapping screw to be driven through it and into an adjacent workpiece. This creates a strong, concealed joint without the need for visible fasteners on the show face. The technique is widely used in cabinetmaking and furniture construction for its speed and strength.
