Pulverizer

A piece of secondary tillage equipment used to break down soil clods, remove air pockets, and create a fine, level seedbed for planting. It employs a rotating drum or a series of rollers equipped with teeth, spikes, or paddles to crush compacted earth and firm the soil surface after primary plowing. Pulverizers are available in widths from a few feet for compact tractors to over 20 feet for large-scale agricultural operations.
