Turnplough

A type of plough designed to turn over a furrow slice of soil, inverting it to bury weeds and crop residues and bring fresh soil to the surface. This action prepares the seedbed for planting and improves soil aeration. Modern turnploughs often feature multiple mouldboards for efficient operation.
