Quad
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-004612
A package containing four identical and independent electronic circuits, such as four operational amplifiers, logic gates, or analog switches, within a single integrated circuit. This configuration reduces the component count, board space, and manufacturing cost for designs that require multiple instances of the same function. For example, a quad op-amp IC like the LM324 provides four separate amplifiers that share common power supply pins but operate independently.
