QDR
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-004609
An acronym for Quad Data Rate, a type of synchronous static random-access memory (SRAM) featuring separate input and output ports. This architecture allows for simultaneous read and write operations, effectively doubling the data bandwidth compared to single-port memories. QDR SRAM achieves four data transfers per clock cycle by transferring data on both the rising and falling edges for both the read and write ports, making it suitable for high-speed networking applications like routers and switches.
